Welcome to the dojo within the dojo

A place to rest - to practice - to be inspired - to be at home with your self.

A space to reflect, to connect, to strengthen the ability to stay awake regardless, to return to the basics of Life and being a humane being.

A kindness to live and practice with others, to build the capacity for more capacity, to practice our humanity, to learn to live in peaceful coexistence and well being for All of this beautiful and troubled planet Earth.

I invite you to explore and to mine this site - there may be something worth discovering...

With respect

Who is Sensei?

Who is Sensei?

Consciousness is the sensei

Peace is its goal

Trust is its language

Healing and love are its products

The last time I was in a dojo, there was sun, sea and sand.

Now here we are at Windhorse Farm in a very different land.

Go with the flow but stand your ground:

the sky’s dropped a blank canvas all around.

What dreams do we dare to paint

for the next chapter of the human race?

Here we are at the end

of two days of learning, laughing and dancing,

showing up, standing up, finding clarity and advancing

the skills and qualities that we need

to overcome ignorance, fear and greed.

Here we are, deep-diving;

it feels like we’re just arriving

but already we’re becoming.

What have we entered into?

What are we becoming?

What the world needs

is practitioners of peace.

In this dojo you won’t get a belt

and it’s not just about what you learned, but what you felt.

Let the growth of humanity and consciousness be your belt -

that will last much longer;

when warriors of the heart come together as one,

we’re a thousand times stronger.

Peace, compassion and forgiveness

are the swords of clarity.

A brighter future awaits for the whole of humanity

when I realize that I have no enemy:

only a worthy opponent.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to practice.

Thank you for helping me to wake up.

When you’re tired, it’s hard to stay conscious

so get some rest

because the world fucking needs you

to be at your very best.

Remember the lessons of the game

Once consciousness gets moving,

it knows where to flow.

What am I doing to allow it to move?

What am I doing to get out of the way

and to let consciousness be the sensei?
